Minutes of the Annual Parish Council Meeting held on 04 May 2021 at 7.30pm remotely via Zoom

1.   Apologies

Apologies were received from Cllr Ashton, who may arrive late to the meeting.

Present:  Cllrs Pickett, Edwards, Bowles, Wrisdale, Seymour, Featherstone, Law and Danby.

2.   Nominations for chairman

Cllr Featherstone proposed that Cllr Danby should continue as Chairman, this was seconded by Cllr Seymour, there being no other nominations Cllr Danby accepted the position and will sign the Acceptance of Office at the June meeting.

3.   Nominations for vice-chairman

Cllr Wrisdale proposed that Cllr Bowles continue as Vice-Chairman, this was seconded by Cllr Pickett, there being no other nominations Cllr Bowles accepted the position and will sign the Acceptance of Office at the June meeting.

4.   To review:

a. Standing Orders

There were no amendments to the Standing Orders

b. Council Risk Assessment 

There were no amendments to the risk assessment

c. Play Area Risk Assessment

There were no amendments to the play area risk assessment.

5.    Committees

Recreation Field:  Cllrs Danby, Edwards, Bowles, Ashton and Wrisdale

6.    Representative on Outside Bodies

Parish Hall Committee:   Cllr Law

Alenson & Erskine Foundation:   Cllrs Danby and Ashton

Consolidated Charities:   Cllrs Danby, Bowles and Featherstone 

Recreation Field Management Committee:   Cllrs Bowles, Edwards and Ashton

Wrangle Show:   Cllrs Seymour and Edwards

Youth Club:  Cllr Edwards.

7.   Any other business for review

There was no other business for review.

There being no other business the meeting was closed at 7.45pm
